Why tallow instead of a petroleum lip balm?
Petroleum sits on the lip and seals it, which is why lips can feel dependent on reapplying. Tallow is made of fatty acids that are bio-compatible with your own skin, so it absorbs in and repairs the barrier instead of just coating it. That is the whole reason this balm is only five ingredients.
Can I wear it overnight?
That is when it works hardest. Lips lose moisture through the night, so a layer before bed gives the tallow, jojoba and castor oil hours to repair cracking and peeling without anything rubbing it off.
Is it waxy or sticky?
